Sales Representative Air & Ocean

The job:
As Sales Representative, you will have an outgoing and driving role with a broad interface both within the company as well as with customers and suppliers. Your most important task will be to lead the way in attracting new customers as well as caring for and expanding existing ones.
The role of the Sales Representative is to win new business and work as an integral part of the Business Development Team with responsibility for generating new business opportunities. The Sales Representative also generates qualified leads, then convert them through the sales process into prospects and customers. The Sales Representative is a highly motivated individual with a strong import/export ocean and air transportation skill set capable of developing high value propositions that results in strong relationships.
Your tasks will include:

• Actively generates qualified leads
• Calculate and submit freight quotations and tenders efficiently and follow up accordingly 
• Achieve agreed or given targets/deadlines as directed
• Maintain appropriate knowledge of competition and marketplace activity, reporting back any trends or developments

• Have 3 years of experience from a similar job
• Are result orientated, hardworking, self-starter who has a good understanding of the Logistics industry with strong closing skills
• Have excellent interpersonal & administration skills with accurate pipeline forecasting
• Have the ability to communicate at all levels within the business, good persuasive and negotiation skills
• Have excellent processing & time management skills
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office and fluent in both Dutch & English
